i am needing to run 1 ohm but later on will be .5 and i can do that with either of these amps. if i get another db drive it will be 1 strapped if i get a 3500 it will be 1 til i get 2 more subs...

i have seen a couple but i was told they were the older styles like a few years ago i was thinkin of running them back in 09 and i was warned about them but they have had a newer version since IDK what did it more than likely user error but just my .02. I still think AQ is a great brand and company though

Any idea what impedance they were being run at? I can honestly say I've ever seen an AQ amp blow up...I would only imagine that amp blew cause it was getting a high voltage or the impedance was very low

Any idea what impedance they were being run at? I can honestly say I've ever seen an AQ amp blow up...I would only imagine that amp blew cause it was getting a high voltage or the impedance was very low

no i dont know what the imp was but like i said probably user error

I have never really heard of to many issues with AQ amps including the older ones. The reason the 3500 was upgraded was for dual inputs and some other new goodies.
