aq1200d or nine.1?

i have $250 to spend on a new amp im looking at a aq1200d and the nine.1 which would u recomend or would u recommend another amp that does the same power thats in that budget?

Ive got a Cadence Z1200. Rated for 1200@1, but does about 1400@1. $170 shipped.

If your going for the AQ or eD. They are both solid amps. Cant go wrong with either.

Iv owned an ED NINe.1 and was a great amp... Rated at 12.5v also...

a friend of mine is plannin on gettin the nine.1 but i think the aq might be the better built amp. but i never seen either personall, just know aq gets a lot of great reviews.

looks like im going with the aq b/c i forgot that the nine.1 was the preproduction sale and i need an amp now im tired of having no bass

I have had both and they are both great amps. They are both well built. I am actually selling an almost new 9.1. It was used for one day literally. I am asking $200 shipped

it's rated at 1250 wrms into 1ohm not 2500 watts and the gp1500d is rated at 750 wrms not 1500

well im thinking im gonna but blackmax's nine.1 b/c the nine.1 is tested at 12 volts and the aq is tested at 14

I had the same decision to make sveral months back and went with the AQ. one reason was that it was more efficient and the other the foot print was alot smaller than the 9.1. I've completely happy with mine

the aq is quite a small 1200rms amp!
