Wow you dont have any room to talk every post you made here so far you praise aq and bash sundown..They are both well built and produce nice power one cost more end story..

hey audioq amps can fail to its just all these $300, 4400 **** near 1000 doller amps that cuz so many people issues.

Any amp can fail at any time you have to take into account people make mistakes and some peoples installs are not amp friendly the user is to blame also.. not always the amps..

sundown and AQ both are total shit..

I can get a 1400watt sony amp for $70

thats 20watts a $1

sundown is: 3.6watts a $1

so the sony amps are wayy better, price, and quality.

great point. im not saying aq is better, im just not liking dB-r at this time.If u asked me i would say hes a great guy and does great work. he talk's alot of shit he should say nothing. he makes money when a SUNDOWN amp Fails.And if Dj let him work on his amps he would make money on Audioq amps that fail. i just dont like db-r right now. that could change hes at home waiting to say somthing where he and many of us should just stfu. Me as well gnite

ive had both sundown 3000d and aq 2200d i love both companies both and both amps, dj and jacob are down to earth ppl. as for db-r i called him befor i bought ether amp and asked about both plus hifonics, after talking to him i decided to go with the aq2200d so i do not think hes biased. because if he was he would of not gave any info that he knew he would of just tryed to talk me into buying sundown but he didnt. i think hes a stand up guy. i only posted this trhead because i always see threads asking for the two to be compared or theards saying which one to buy, i thought i was informative. sorry dj, jacob, db-r, or anyone who gets upset by this thread.

Yeah, I may stay out of these things from now on, not that I am worried about it, it's just time consuming to respond a lot, and being that it's just over a month till USAC finals I got my hands full here.

One more thing though, a message to the guy who talks about all the $1000 sundown amps breaking, gonna give you a story about the one I worked on last. A SAZ-3000D, newer style, the guy blew the power supply in it. He's one of those "1 battery is all you get in this class (Street A or whatever)" competitors. Not gonna say no names, but he blew the shit out of this amp with extremely low voltage. And to my suprize, Jacob warrantied it anyway.... what a nice guy, LOL.. I wouldn't have been so nice. Most of the stuff we get for refurb now are the really old Sundown amps and the brand new in box failed QC stuff that some dope at the factory screwed up by soldering two things together that he shouldn't have etc.... Nothing Sundown can do about that except ***** to the factory, and believe me he does....

Quality amps that fail are due to user error 99% of the time...or they're just really old and falling apart.

it is what it is. for the PRICE dj is making alot of people happy.Sundown amps are great but u will pay alot for there stuff and they do have issues im sure that nuthugger db-r will second there was some issues with the older amps and im sure his new stuff will b sh it. I love $1000 amps that burn out and have to b sent in. Aq 2200d is one of the best amps out there today .

I've used both companies, and like both owners as well. The 2200D is hard to beat for the price, as well as the 3500D. I personally think that for the extra money you're getting a beefier, more reliable amp in the sundown. Whether that extra money is worth it, is up to the consumer.

May I suggest that you do. As a repair depot for more than one brand it makes sense to take a neutral stance and exercise your opinions in private conversations.

Hey, I think I seen you at the Waco (Shades custom tint) deal a couple weeks ago. My boy Brian was in the 0-1000 mod last year. The Jeep with the Incriminator sticker on the back. He's running an S-10 this year in Pro Stock 601-1800.

May I suggest that you do. As a repair depot for more than one brand it makes sense to take a neutral stance and exercise your opinions in private conversations.
