what makes the HDC's and AQ/DD like to be in 40 hz tunings and not much lower than that for a daily situation??

im not shere but from what iv seen its the super stiff 8 layer spiders?!? thats just my 2 cents

Im pretty sure the suspension is very stiff so it keeps the cone under control when playing under tuning much better than other woofers.
