Here's my build I made the box today and i'll be puttin it in my car tomorrow. The box is 3.5 ft3 @40 hz with the sub on the front and port on the back to shoot through my armrest hole... I'm hoping this way will be louder. (this is my 2nd box for this setup). Oh and i did all of the cutting with a jigsaw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif don't hate. Liquid nails ftw.

Let me know wut u think.

I built the port first 56 sq in. 16 in long

nice build....you will love the 15...i know i still love mine even though i replaced it with the 18''
Yea i've had it installed in a different box for a couple of months and loved it ( i think it was 3.5 @36 hz both sub and port facing back) i just got bored and wanted to try somethin different.

LOve that amp. Miss my old one i had. My cousin has a Avalon and can understand why you decided to put your port thru your arm rest... Those trunks are like a big tin can.. If you get a chance look under your rear deck and there should be a a pretty big circle cutout thats covered by a round plate... It can easily be pushed out with a little hardwork.. its just held in place by some glue. It helped my cousins setup a little...

i would turn it around
trust me those trunk are sealed off from the cabin... i personally dont like it that way myself but in his setup i can see why he is experimenting with it like that... hopefully it works out. OP let us know your results.. i might have to tell my cousin to try it out in his setup.. Ever think about firing the port thru your rear deck?? Might be an option with different results than your current setup.
