to start with, what i want to do is a daily driver , i have plenty of room under my back seat .. i intend to modify the seat around the sub' box . want it to pound very hard, while still sounding good .. but definately more spl over sq ..

looking to go with 1 sundown 3000d , or 2-3 aq 2200d

would the hdc3 12 '' fit this roll very well, im considering doing 2 or 3 of them, with either 1 2200d each, or strap 2 of them for the set,

while in theory the seat will be there ..

I wont be sitting on it ..

i believe these subs need 2.5 cube sealed each ..

So i will definately need to do a rather large riser for the seat ..

ive also considered taking the full seat out completely, and building a seat into a box,

Or putting a single jump seat or similar back there ..

take the seat out. Really doubt u want sealed HDC3's.

i took out the back seat for my HDC3 18 and am giving it 8 cubic feet....lovin it

I have another option you might be interested in... i have a couple SJA motors i could get reconed for you.. a pair of 12s would run you about 450 shipped... they do excellent ported and nicely sealed.. they sound better then the HD3s too... if you have about 5 cubes gross and 3Kw they would be more ideal than the HD3s...

i personally dont like the new AQs, or their sound.

and yes, ive ran a ten and messed around with a 15 plenty.

k if the aq's dont do so hot sealed,

Are there other options that run around that price of them (300'ish)

that will pound the fillings out of your teeth and still sound decent and run good on a daily driver setup ?

also ive never done a ported box before,

Ill have to look into that, but never done one,

If i open up the box to include ported, what subs would fit these guidelines that im looking for
