AQ hdc3 or hdc4

My buddies got an aq2200.1 and is debating on weather the hdc3 or hdc4 would get louder on 2200w.

18" models. Anyone?

Termlab wise. The hdc3 with aluminum coils. Daily beater on the lows hdc4. if the amls running on .5ohm get the hdc4. If at one get the hdc3. More coil takes more power to get louder, but handles it longer. I ran a hdc3a 15" off 2 aq1200s strapped.

A good while back, I had a single 12" aq hdc3 on on a aq2200 and got pretty loud. I had to keep my eyes on the clipping or that sub will get stinky fast off that much wattage. I then did a sub swap with a 12" aq hdc4 and gained a good 1db. Id get the hdc4, so you dont have to worry about blowing the sub and you can always upgrade the amp later on.

It's for daily. He doesn't really care about too much low end just wants it loud as hell.
