Aq Hdc3 18?

Has anyone had one or a pair of these metered yet? If so what did they do on the TL? I have one right now waiting on my second to get here but the one is just about as loud as the 2 HD3 15's and that is in a box built for 2 of them so it could be a lot louder if it was in a box designed for one but I designed it for 2, so right now I have one in 11.7 cubes and it is still pounding out hard as hell I just do not have access to a TL so I was seeing if anyone has metered one or even a pair of these on around 2500 rms for 1 or 4500-5000 rms for 2.

all i can tell you is ive done a 143.7 with my hdc15 and aq1200d and ive got a aq2200d and hdc18 im gonna be putting in my car, and im expecting like a 148-149+, so 2 18s i guess would be like a 152-153

sleepyjr did a 149.3 I believe with 2 18's on a Autotek MM 4000.1

he did a 148.xx, but it seems MUCH louder to the ear. Some deadening would probably help his numbers, but for a daily system it's quite impressive and more then most would actually need...

I will try to get a pic up of my install with some more info. What kind of electrical did sleepy have and what vehicle is his setup in? Was that a peak score?

end of dec i should have my hdc18 on a aq2200d in 6cubes at 40hz, i can let u kno what it meters then

im gonna be in live oak, fl this sunday for the db drag/iasca show, i take my tl to all shows, so if u wanna get some time on my tl

he did a 148 with two 18s and 4000 watts in im assuming a SUV?? Whats wrong with his install?? I did a 148 with a single 15 in a trunk

I am going to have 2 18's in 11.25 net cubes with 2 AQ 2200's as power in a box tuned to 40 hz with 180 square inches of port I would get it metered but I do not have access to a TL that is why I'm seeing what others have done. And plenty of electrical I keep a steady 12.5v with the car off at full volume.

his box designs are redicilous, there was a guy competing with me in my class that ALSO had a 15" BTL same thing i had, except he had it in a Tiburon small *** hatchback and was only hitting 141.8, the box is key
