Aq Dustcap Punched In - Easy fix?? *PIC*

I could go through the back with mine and pop it out but I didn't put the stiffener cap back in.

Use a razor blade and cut real careful either around the cap or do a criss cross since your tearing it off and gently remove it from the cone. Don't be surprized if a little of the cone surface comes up its gonna happen.

That sucks but is an easy fix. Should have removed it from the start though instead of drilling holes in it.

Aluminum foil tape.The adhesive is pretty strong on it.

Make a little tab that you can pull on, and let it sit on the cap for a couple hours.

If there is any residual adhesive take a little acetone or alcohol to it.

It not, use a sewing needle that's bent at 90 degrees, you'll have to heat it up though, the needles like to snap a lot.

alcohol will wipe the logl clean off the DC and acetone will just ruin it

youre gonna have to pull the sub regardless, so you may as well try the pole vent.

I had a dent in a dustcap similar, after a recone, and it just worked itself out after a few minutes of beating on it

You can also go through the vent on the back plate, and push it up.
