Aq Dustcap Punched In - Easy fix?? *PIC*

I do have a decent suction cup from my GPS, but it may be to large diameter to fit and hold, and I really dont htink it would have enough strenght.

I did try gorilla tape, didnt work

Aluminum foil tape.

The adhesive is pretty strong on it.

Make a little tab that you can pull on, and let it sit on the cap for a couple hours.

If there is any residual adhesive take a little acetone or alcohol to it.

It not, use a sewing needle that's bent at 90 degrees, you'll have to heat it up though, the needles like to snap a lot.

Since it is hard, if you use the needle you will have a hole... will let dust in, hence the name dustcap lol. I wouldnt worry about it, unless you show your sub a lot.
they have a lil cap under the dust cap.... it wouldnt let dust in if it had a hole.....

I think I may end up just drilling a 3/32 hole (smallest drill I got) and trying to pop it, was hoping it wouldnt come to that. And yes the subs are seen alot, there in a wall lol

Can you spot the punched cap? (yes i know the subs are dusty, theyve been in storage for a year)

Use JB Weld and have a piece of bailing wire in it and let the JB cure over nitgh in the center of the dent and in the morning pull it off and use Goo Gone to remove the excess JB.
