AQ 2200d vs. powerbass xa3000d?

both amps are nice, i would personally go with the PB but either way is good.

To the guys that are thumbs down on the PowerBass. I own a 3k xa and 2 3xl PowerBass subs. Old school PowerBass is by far one for the record book and hall of fame. I have competed and hit 144.6 at 1/4 gain in a 05 dodge Stratus this year. PB is no joke at all I wouldn't buy anything else for subs or amps especially amps. I've owned my from 09 and will have to say I'd get drunk and beat the **** out of this system in my back yard for 6+ hours continuously. And never had a problem EVER! Obviously those guys probably have never owned this model of PowerBass. To judge what one has never owned is ridiculous. Ivan and will post pictures on my account as proof when I get time. Seriously unbelievably happy with this system. Paid $1400 for the amp and $1100 for the subs in 09 and would spend that much all over. I'm currently in the process of buying one more XA 3k and two 4k. Don't be stupid give PowerBass another thought! But if you don't that's fine cause that's less people with PB, less people with a true quality system.

when i was at the shop, i was told the powerbass and sundown 3k had the same board ect. and were pretty much the same. now i dont believe it but it was said lol

I have a power bass 3k in my suburban blown we can squash this now.

As for this statement, I'll say this... There's someone on here speaking of a blown powerbass xa every once in a while. I don't hear about too many bigger sa's frying, side from user error.

All that aside, I'd pick the pb over the aq.

I had a xa3k a while... not really a difference between it and a Goliath xxx6500d to my ear

And would trade an AQ for it no question.

Man i wish i had a car to run 1 of your 18s in i would buy 1 like now. always wanted to have one. how does 18s compare to other subs in your opinion?

It is deep but I've had 12's dig deeper its all about the install and build.

I've never personally seen XTA amps die, never heard of XA. PB amps are where its at, i wouldnt touch their subs for anything except SQL on a budget though.

Guy around here has 6 3xl 12s on 3 XTA 2250D and does a 151 on music. Never blew a sub, never blew an amp.
