It does look like a very impressive and powerful amp, I would not be suprised if it does a little more than 2200 clean watts RMS.

it does look very similiar to the BXI2607D. I am sure it is built better, with better parts and perform better, although I had 2 BXI2607's and they were very powerful, did at least rated power, very efficient and as I said they had some balls to them

I remember 18 years ago if you wanted a Punch,HiFonics, orion hcca, ppi, zapco, etc. it cost about $1 per watt..but thats what it cost for raw American made power... I commend DJ for his effort and korean boards or not I am thankful for the opportunity to do business with AQ very soon. I think this AQ 2200 will be pretty **** handy on a couple of 15's I been eyeballin

I wouldn't try and hide it if it was a zenon board. They are very good. But the components on them can be high quality,(sundown, atomic, ab, others) or low quality,(powerbass, Rd //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

It is not a Zenon amp. I don't remember the name of the company that builds them, and probably wouldn't tell it if I could remember. However, I know it isn't Zenon. I had a long drawn out conversation with DJ one time about why he didn't use Zenon amps. He has his reasons, and I'll leave it at that.

You guys have to remember that the electronics industry is booming in Korea, and there are tons of manufacturers over there. Naturally they all copy off of each other, as they do in every industry. It's no suprise that the amps look similar.

It does not matter if it has the same board as another amp it depends on the parts inside, but if it is the same as the bxi2607d then this is going to be a very good amp

Here are the AudioPrecision test bench results at 14.4v and 1 ohm load. As you can see it'll do the 2200 at 1% like it's rated, and over 2500 watts at a soft clip. The 16v chart shows numbers in excess of 3000 watts at a soft clip.
