aq 2200 power hog?

my friend has a honda with a 90a stock alt & 6 opti yellow tops in trunk, & 1 under hood, and uses 8 runs of 0 ga. he runs a american bass 500.1 amp and stays above 12. idk how the hell he does it on a 90a alt but he does.... if u dont beleve me ill get you the youtube search and show you

As much as he spent in battery he could of got a big alternator and saved a lot of weight.

130amp alt and a single deka keep my 2200 above 12.5 durning burps wired at .5 ohm...... So is an alt a good idea yea but is it a must hell no..

Thats cool but what kind of electronics does your car use? Its different when you dont have power anything. Also HOs are built to run hard all the time and make power at idle.. Stock dont do that.

dude you do not have to buy another alt. im not saying i know more then these guys on here but i know how my truck runs and my friends honda. if you dont beleave me on the alt vs power. ill make you a vid of mine today and show you. i have stock electrical as well and stay about 12.5 and running the same power pretty much. mine probly draws more because of its efficiency

Current setup... Stock alt people WOW. Burps never below 13.3v now what?? Daily pounding never drops below 13.7v .....People and there BS info. All I hear is blahh blahh when i see some of these dumb azz replys. Guess I needs to go get me an alt cause joe blow said I should..

Every car is different.. You can not compare your Saturn to what he has... Mine wouldnt run 1500 on the stock 100 amp cause of all the stuff going on. EVERY CAR IS DIFFERENT!!!
