AQ 15s and port questions

they are light compared to pvc.... i never said it wasn't strong. in fact it is very very durable.
my bad, yes in comparison to PVC they are lighter, but your right very strong, used for the formation of contrete collums, they have to be strong

Thanks spencer321, I got'cha now. So I can get these tubes at my local lowes? How would it sound on a box without a double baffle and no flare? Whats the biggest size PVC you can get? Do they make a 10"?
i would do 1 10" or 12". i did 1 8.5" for 1 aq sd 2.5 15 and it has NO port noise at any HZ. sono tubes are about 10 bucks at lowes or home depot.

agreed, 9cubes internal tuned to 36hz

10" = 10.8" long

12" = 17.3" long

honestly don't think your going to have any port noise with 10" but 12" or 10" either way is a BIG *** round port. and no need to flair, each are big enough that it wouldnt matter

Thanks spencer321 and icweiner, If i can sell my PB gun in the next week or so, I would like to get started on a box. I'll have to check those tubes out tomorrow and see what i can do.... I'm not sure, but if i take out my plans on plexi windows, i might be able to fit a 12" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/yumyum.gif.0556df42231b304b9c995aefd13928a8.gif
