ive got a apxx 18. the box can be 6cuft or less, after displacements. will be giving it 4kwrms maybe a little more. would like it to kill the lows but still be able to do well on the meter. only listen to rap with the bass on.

what kind of tuning and about how big of box do these things like?

i dont understand why people go in between. You can either have an "okay" daily that is "sort of" loud on a meter, or you can have one of each and have it be its best //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

but two answer your question, 35hz i guess is usually best if you want the best of both worlds, sort of.

i ask because my current setup is tuned to 33hz and it just isnt hitting what its capable of on the meter. maybe ill make a burp box for comps and a regular box for daily then. what do you think? burp tuned at 43hz(frequency where most of my setups have been loudest) and daily tuned to about 31-33hz?
