ya well like the title says im gonna have like 300 or so for either one nice sub or 2 mediocre ones

i plan to use a PA 3000 class D, i was thinking hifonics but heard really up and down reviews so i guess i got scared off

i was looking into pioneer premeirs but i was reading some discouraging things about them and so i was leaning to kicker L7s but i already have one and i might wanna try something new

so any info on either pioneers (3004/2) or comparable subs (ebay prices by the way haha) or hifonics amps

thanks all

oh yea forgot to add that probly louder but if possibly a mix with emphais on SPL and i was gonna use a ported box but any other info is appreciated about sealed ( i have a sealed now and its ok but obviously ported are louder)

i say you just port the one you have now then.. save some money. if that doesn't work out, you can always get a second sub and run them ported.

i'm in the down review on hifonics. like the amps, dislike the subs.

i'm happy with my tsw3004spl's...

i have the bass boost on nothing, loud on none, sub level on hu on 0, gain matching my hu and its pretty daym loud...

i have my eq set on "vacal" (lowest level of bass) because anything else it'll drown my REV's (don't have the amp hooked up yet)...so yeah, its pretty impressive...especially for what i go them for...

really i was talking about the hifonics ampsso they have been good to you how are they on rated power and reliability
I'm happy with mine. You aren't going to get the full watts they rate at, but it's generally int he upper 80% area of true watts (about 87% of their rating or so). For the price, excellent amps and just feel sturdy as well. Don't feel/look cheap at all. The BXi 1606D (which will actually output a little more than 1400w IIRC) is less than $300 right now at OnlineCarStereo.

agreed. the bx1206 i had did 1150 rms. 50 watts under, but worth every penny still.
