Indeed Google Maps did always work. It also came standard with the Ipad, and Iphone. However, due to googles launch of Android, and Steve Job's feeling of betrayal and flat out theft of his company's technology, he began moving away from the Apple-Google alliance. Dropping Google Maps from their newest line of products is a slap in the face and will most definitely be noticed by the higher-up's at Google; however, it is likely that it will not be recognized as "missing" to most apple customers... especially with the new TbT navi application.Google maps always worked it was just never voice turn by turn (which I have stated before was the only advantage I gave to android). If you have to carry a charger with you all day long and charge up every 3 hours, you got problems bro (or have to pay an extra $100 for the same phone with a bigger crappy battery). Sorry but iPhone FTMFW!
