Actually a 15001d is 150each and the 30001d is 340. Would it still be worth just getting a 30001d? And I was going to get these instead of an aq2200d for an hdc318. Would it be a good idea or no? Will have a 200a alt for it.

I understand now, guess a 3000 it is. Is that a good choice compared to an aq2200d? I will only need 2000w out of either so I figured the AP would work fine.

If you only need 2k I wouldnt run Audiopipe.. Crescendo or AQ

A pair of the mini's strapped will give you 2k @ 2, or a single Ap1800 and just set your gain for 1800w instead of 2k.

I would do a pair of the ap minis @ 2 and just drop a deka in the back. Anymore than that and the price really starts going up for electrical upgrades. Anyways, 2k to an HDC will get you pretty loud

what coil configuration do you have on the HDC3? I say ap3k if its a dual 1 ohm. turn the gain down if you don't wanna go full tilt 3k. or if its a dual 2 ohm then get the ap18001d for 2k. its 190 shipped. no need to set gains separately or strap the amps or run multi rca and wiring. Price is hard to beat as well.

Well the thing is depending on the impedance if its a d1/d4 he should strap, otherwise get the AP1800. And running the extra RCA isn't really an issue you can get some 3ft rca's from Knu or even just amazon and just bridge them that way. No need for a distro block either if you have a battery in the back you can use
