Okay, so I'm doing my AP Calc homework. I get to a problem where our teacher informed us to use our graphing calculators. More specifically, the listing features to graph an equation, then find the secant lines as Q approaches P. I might have lost a few of you guys there, might have not. But that isn't completely necessary to solve my problem. So I figure out the equation and all, then I go to plug it into my calc (TI-83). I hit graph, and I get the ERR: INVLID DIM. So I figure, crap, must have plugged something in wrong. I found an error that I made, fix it, then go to graph it again. Same error message. Lame, so, I crunch the numbers down on paper, finding the equations of the secant lines the long way.... Then I plug those individual equations into my calculator, hit graph. Same friggin' problem. I'm thinking about how flippin' ghey my calculator is being. I then plug in the equation y=x, thinking that it should easily be able to graph it. I guessed wrong, ERR: INVLID DIM. I'm gonna destroy that **** calculator. I can't figure out what the duece is wrong with it. Anybody have any ideas?
Hopefully you guys don't think I'm a nerd..... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif
