well it turned on... the audiopipe logo lights up... normally when stuff lights up i think it looks really corny.. but i gotta admit... looks pretty clean

still building the new box for my subs tho so i cant test it out for a couple more days =[

well as i said before, im gonna be careful, plus i can awlays wire it down to 4 ohms..

i put 180 to each g1 from an old amp (my temp setup) and they laughed at it... i know they wont take the 1500 obviously, but ill be they can take at least double their rated rms

plus my setup is more sq based...

hell i wouldnt even be able to put the full 1500 to em if i wanted... i got an 85 amp alt... 100 watts going to my tweets /mids (passive for now, will be active soon) and another 200 going to each midbass...

Still cant decide on these.

AP30001d is two 150001's

150001's rated 1500 at 1, so is the 30001.

The 30001 is two 150001s at .5 each.

Hrmmm

And I've heard that hte 150001 does closer to 1800 or so at .5

But, of course, the 30001 wont run below 1ohm because of the two strapped boards internally.

So now, I'm confused again

And I'm not sure which is better, the AP30001d or the GD6001D - - -the 30001d is beefy looking but the 6001 appears to have a stronger build quality and is equally as beefy

Anyone done extensive testing? I've thought about purchasing these many of times to use

might wanan double check, i could very well be wrong, but like you said its 2 1500ds strapped.. most strapped i see only go to 2 safely.. maybe it will run at 1... but for how long?

Who knows. Someone send me one and I'll put that SOB on the BTL that I still have and see what happens. Maybe I'll even do a little bit of testing on the amplifier...
