dont know where upstate you are, but in oswego there are monthly SPL comps at the local shop (Ultimate Edge), world champion named Chris McVay runs it. sponsored by memphis, kinetik, ect.

but for $10 at the comp you could get metered, you dont have to enter, they would prolly let you on the mic before they break down the competition, or you could enter and see what happens.

just bring a disc with test tones on it and ask for a few minutes.

X2! Always on the lookout for people who are into car audio in this part of NY.

The one in Syracuse is the only "local" one I know of. I'm hoping to make a trip up to there this summer to get the DP metered!

Also depending on how funds are, I'm planning on looking into buying a TL myself and offering local people to come and use it, to help pay for it and all. We'll have to see if I have the $$ though.

I didn't know about it. Corey (massiveaudiocw) told me about it a while back. I wish I had known about it though. I really wanted to get my old W7 setup metered but didn't. I wanted to get my AP/SPL setup metered too but didn't. I will make it there this summer though. I HAVE to get the DP metered, I'll kill myself if I don't,lol.
