this question is kind of stupid but are your rubber surrounds the same color? I have 2 and I swear one of my surrounds is a lighter shade than the other which kind of bugs me and and someone else agrees with me that they are different color.

You may want to contact JL, the ones with the lighter shade surround typically blow a lot easier due to an imbalance that shorts the motor out.

I dunno if surrounds do that, but it happened on the dustcap of my IDMAX.

if they're in a trunk than how can they get that amount of sun exposure to where they exhibit discoloration?
