Anyone with cellphone knowledge (troubleshoot)

I bought a Sanyo Katana

Anyways, I have a purplish vertical line on my main screen as well as my back screen.

I havent dropped my phone or anything.

Has anyone heard of such a thing?

well no offense to u..but that phone ...get rid of it...alot of those have problem especially off of sprint..which more then likely u are..but i dont know...i would just go to the dealer and let them know...open the back and check the sticker under the battery see if its red..from water damage

I had the phone for a littel over a month

no water damage.....hasnt been dropped....nothing

it just appeared

My ol'e lady has one of these. She's yet to have a problem with it. But I've had two Verizon LG's do this to me. You don't have to drop them. close them too hard or some sort of pressure (ie: sqeezing it into a tight pocket full of keys, accidentally sitting on it, etc.) tends to split the inside of the screen.

If you have insurance.. Get your moneys worth! That's what it's there for. Just take it to a shop or ship it in and they'll pull that thin piece of plastic called a "screen" out and replace it.
