Well, I never got rid of them... yet. My friend I was going to get the PR's off of has his head stuck up some girls skirt. I've been thinking about just holding off on them and buying 1 or 2 FI.q 12's. I would get a 1500 watt amp and put those explodes on it, then after they catch on fire you get 1 or 2 Fi Q.

Seriously, I know they ****, but I don't have the money to go buy new right now, so I'm making do with what I do have readily available.

And if you read I am intending on getting 1 or 2 Fi's.

I didn't buy the Memphis PR's I was intending on.

I still have Xplod's

I'm going to buy Fi.Q series 12" subs, either one or two, not sure yet.

I have to deal with Xplod's for now.

sure, xplod and dual arent great things but hey guys we all started somewhere. im sure everyone whos commented didnt have great systems from day 1.

when i started at 16 i had my xplod 10's and xplod unit.

why not just give him the advice he asked for instead of making fun of him? some people never grow up.

i would say for the 12's which are rated at like 1200 to give them around 250 rms max. just tune it by ear and if they sound like they are bottoming out then back off to like 200. i donno i would personally blown them for fun.

I had them in my buddies truck... He was given them along with some MTX amps back when he graduated high school a few years back and I finally built him some under the seat boxes... They were in .65 cubes sealed and I would personally NOT recommend this... They only had 80 watts or so a piece, but even at low power they don't sound good... They are firing at the floor, but I've had good luck with that before... I'd try and trade them to an idiot with a slightly better one sub... I just really don't see the sony sounding that great... Maybe try 1 cube each and I agree, ajust the gains so they are bottoming out...
