i couldent tell by pioneer's web site but does the pioneer AVXP8DVD indash come with a tv tuner or have one in it or do i have to buy it seperate

You'll have to buy the separate TV Tuner. The model listed in the install manual is the GEX-P6400TV, but thats discontinued. I think the current model is the GEX-P5700TV. If you go to Pioneers website, and download the install manual, it shows a system diagram. Hope this helps.
