american or british?

i'm boycotting the american one. why is it that america had to make their own american version in order for it to be funny to american audiences? is the majority of america so stupid they can't understand words like wanker and gaylord and associate those with the american counterparts?

anyway, i bought the british seasons as soon as they came out on dvd, and thought they were all hilarious. i opted not to watch the american one, because from what i understand, the first few seasons are pretty much line for line, except americanized....

i suggest you watch the british ones. you can buy the seasons at best buy, or most likely download them.

i've only seen previews and trailers on t.v., but just from that IMO i think the british guy that plays the boss is MUCH more fit for the part.

it seems like whoever casted the american one was like "well who's funny and popular, ok he can be the boss"

idk, to each their own.

but i do suggest you pick up or watch the british ones, you won't be let down
