Returning to my original post. What does this 4" coil Chinese cookie cutter piece have on an established American buildhouse like Fi and their 4" coil offering? Or for that matter on even the "tested" Chinese cookie cutter brands that already exist like SQ or American Bass?

Maybe to leads won't catch fire? Take months to get?

Direct comp for AB or SQ maybe.

I didn't make any assumptions about the subwoofer. I just said all sub's look basically the same.

Fi does their own thing and that's cool. You have to respect a company that's doing their own thing in a "cookie cutter" industry.

And there's only a few build houses in the world the build this sort of thing, which is mostly like amps. Pick one of the designs out of the sweatshop's catalog and have a logo to put on it.
Lets not pretend this company is doing anything "innovative" or "designing" anything. Just another retail outlet for Chinese slave labor.

How do you know they didn't design the motor and have it built over seas? Sundown designs and has their own stuff tooled etc...

This is most likely a "cookie cutter" subwoofer, but that's only an assumption at this point.
