I have a 97 2-dr Blazer, anyone know the resonance freq?

Ok so Im going with 1 12 or 1 15" Fi BTL, I either want to go sub back port to the side, or sub up port back, I wanted to use aero ports, but If i do 1 15" which is what i'll most likely be doing, I'll need 3 4" ports or 2 6" and they would need to be like 30" long. Any one know how people do this. I can get 4" PVC at home depot very cheap so If i could buy just the flares, that would def be the way to go. although it prolly wouldnt be very strong. I plan on going with 2k watts rms, and a 1/0 awg amp kit. I found 200 amp alts on ebay for $130 shipped. Anyone with advice on box design or any tips I appreciate your input.

You could use a single 6" aero or get an 8" from amartin on here for about the same price. Sub up port to the passenger side works good for me, or sub up port back works good too.

What would you do? It would be way easier with one 6" it would only need to be like 13" but with one 8" I would need a 22" port How much does he charge and whats his e-mail? Id have to take pics of mine, I don't have any right now. Im using a 6" in my box right now and used it with my 15 in my other car and both aren't too bad. A slot port would work too. Im going to try subs up with a slot port along the bottom of the box facing back next.

The box will be custom, so why not the port, a square w/a big opening surface area might help. The more ports you run, the long they need to be.

Mine WAS a modest system, 2 PG XMAX10, each in a 1.25 cf ported box, port was 3" dia and I ?? how long off of a Kicker ZR240 at ~450 watts total. Both the subs and ports fired upward. IIR I was hitting 138.XX dB, but remember that was with 2 old school 10"s and it was set up for a 90%/10% blend leaning to SQ.

i have 2 12's in my blazer,subs up ,2 4'' aeros back,in a 5 cube box,because i like the lows,but a blazer typically likes 45 to 50 hertz peak freq.hope this helps a little.

if i get a 15" btl you guys really think 1 6" will be enough I was trying to find one 8" 22" aero... my box would have to be like 5.75 cubes

Right now im using a single 6" aero for my pair of aq 12s, and I use it for my mt15 when I use that.
