what sub/subs? im gonna go out to robins on sunday and get his opinion, have him re measure to make sure, and hes gonna design something, but would like to get ideas.

2 12s, 2 15s, 1 18?

gonna be daily, so if only running one sub, id like it to be able to handle a crescendo 3k for more than one song. kinda why i want to run 2 subs so they can have less stress put on them, with only ~1500w each.

planning on a kerfed port too, tuned pretty low (i think i want it around like 27-29hz)

subs will be face up, and i have enough depth just to fit an 18".

You have 6-7ft with or without a 4 cubic foot port figured in?

Best to make sure you figure in room for your port before you decide. Figure a 6 foot gross box tuned to high 20hz area with the minimum port you'll want to have to avoid chuffing, you'll loose 1.5cube or so to the port, .3cube or so for bracing, plus another .3 to .5 cube for the displacement of the woofers. If you go for the whole 15" area per cube of volume, you're getting into a port that'll eat up 3-4 cubes easy.

**** i forgot about mentioning that... yea... thats not including port..i may just run some 6" aero's to save space.. its in the back of my HHR, not walling or loosing back seats, and i want the box to be removed easily if cargo is needed, so thats why im building the biggest box in the back i can, while staying under the window line.

Ok my friend is selling his system, and has 3 6" aero's he will sell me for 50 bux. i think i might run those to save space. a slot port, kerfed at that, is going to leave me with no room. would like to kerf it, but oh well //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I say go with 2 monster 12's or 15's.....12's would probably do better because of the size restrictions....
