Anyone using PDX amps?

A guy over at diyaudio.com said they performed quite nicely. Did rated power and produced music that was true to the original. I tend to believe what respected members of that forum say far more than anyone over here. They are a far more technical forum with far more intelligent members with much more discerning ears, eyes and minds.

i'm using a 4.150 and 4.100 to power my 4 way active setup. these things pack some nice power in such a small footprint. my system still sounds very good. i think its one of the best bang for your buck amps out there considering the power it puts out and the size.

Just wondered if there's any feedback on these? I read a Car Audio and Electronics review on them, it was good...just wondered "real World"
Thanks guys!
A buddy of mine has 2 of them. The 4.150 and the 1.1000. They are childishly small but pack a wallop. Install issues are out the window with these things as they will fit in the smallest space. They are pretty pricey tho.

Some, yes. But caraudio.com also has a strong contingent of idiots, flamers and ignorant people. The technical nature of diyaudio.com is such that these people shy away from their forums because the level of conversation is above them.

Thanks for all the info. did a search on DIY and got nothing much. I think I'm giving them a shot, since ZED has a 1 year backorder on some of the amps //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

personally id get the mrd series, way cheaper and put out the same power... a pdx 1000.1 and the mrd m1005 put out the same power or close but the mrd is cheaper and digital.... shud still be some left on egay..

I picked up a PDX4.150 to run active with and to have something small to flush mount into the tailgate of my Jeep. I've only tested it for an hour so far (it'll be next month before i can install it), but I was well and truly impressed.

The footprint is small when you look at the specs or pics, but when you're actually holding it in your hands it's almost rediculous how small the thing is.
