Anyone using Limewire with Vista?

My mom got a new Dell desktop with Vista on it today and when I downloaded Limewire and opened it it wouldn't connect because it said I either didn't have an internet connection or because of a firewall.

She has DSL and the weird thing is it works fine until Limewire is opened. Then it stops working and I have to exit limewire and usually restart the computer or something. Is this a Vista thing, or is it a firewall problem?

Probably a firewall thing. Happened to me w/ itunes then i configured my firewall settings till it worked.

Well I'm not familiar with McAfee so I don't know how to turn the firewall off for a few minutes, or just configure it. I do get a pop-up asking if it's ok to let limewire access internet and I said yes to it, but still no connection...

Limewire is good for music, thats about it. almost everything else is infected.

Kazaa was OK, limewire doesn't impress me much unless I am looking for maybe just one song. I almost always use demonoid though.
