The Eminence Lab 12 and Lab 15 look impressive.A guy in town deals in Eminence studio audio and was asking me if anyone was using them in "mobile audio?"

Eminence has also made subwoofers geared for mobile audio for other companies in the past... the name 'bass mechanik' comes to mind...

bass mech subs where made by DD for us amps back about 99-01.

eminence has made car audio subs for yrs for other companys though ur rite there. dont know how much they do no sence most everything is made in good ol china....

you sure about that? Back in 02 or 03 I reconed a bunch of those subs for the son of a US amps dealer and he said they were made by Eminence.

Edit: I googled it, and read a bunch of people saying they 'thought' or 'heard' bass mechanik was made by DD... IDK... One thing I can say for sure is that Eminence produces assorted drivers for a lot of other companies...

i was a us amps dealer back then and was told they were built by DD. i sold a few too nice subs.

eminence built earthquake subs for a while and some of the old lanzar.

im old comparded to most here and lived the ol skool days when car audio first started getting popular.

my distributor carrys those subs, i have yet to sell any. nobody knows about them. who is making them for us amps?...SPLaudio

I know for a fact that Eminence was making them for US Amps. I have spoken to Mr. McNutt from Eminence prior to designing my enclosure. It came out great and the subs hit extremely hard.

I'm still thinking they were made by Eminence, but who knows... old news anyway...

duh that was way back i picked up some as soon as us amps stopped selling subs and my dist blew them out REALLLLLY cheap. found out DD made them.

u should try to work for national enquire or something....
