anyone used maxxsonic amps?

Hello....I've got an option to buy a maxxsonic blackmaxx blx1000d mono, I haven't used this brand before, ill be getting it for dirt cheap....I checked on the web for specs on it, it states that the amp makes 750 rms at 2ohms.....it will be powering my sh#tty cvr....do you guys think that specs could be true? Please I need your help

Maxxsonics is Mb Quarts, Hifonics, crunch and more..... Lots of people use the Mb Quarts and some of the hifonics with great success.

They make a ton of different middle of the road brands.

I think Crunch is one of their lower tier brands, and I doubt it makes 750 watts at 2 ohms.

That rating means nothing at all, and you would probably get around 400 @ 2 ohms, I think that is a "1000@1" amp, but that is probably a generous rating.

IMO stay away from Crunch other than the ground pounder 3k pro.

Kicker makes some good amps and speakers, overpriced maybe, but good.

Kicker amps are pretty nice actually. And older Sony's were beasts! Even some of the older Xplode stuff was still good. I would'nt touch any of the new Sony stuff and Crunch is meh... If you can get it for a really good price go for it. Otherwise you should be able to get something that does 400 @ 2 ohm a lot cheaper than 100 bucks.

I'm running a quart onyx 1500 on stock electrical other than the big 3 and no issues. I have never had any problems out of any of their products
