Anyone used an Aura Stage 2 amp?

Considering buying this:

Aura RPM2300 RPM Stage 2 Mobile Amplifier 2x150W 269-189

Due to rebate, decent SNR and headroom for my speakers (infinity kappa components, 5.25s rated at 85wrms each).

I'm assuming (hoping) that the rating on this thing is 150wrms/channel. The kappas are my front stage right now and being run from my headunt (~18wrms). I think driving them with some real power will remove my higher end distortion. Rears will likely be powered by a cheaper amp as they are more or less rear-fill 6x9s.

Note: My doors are properly deadened/sealed and the speaker is on an MDF baffle and clayed in so I am not worried about panel resonance with the louder volume.

pretty low s/n probably dirty power like boss or pyle...old school aura was zed made...

Well a "300" watt amp with 80a of fusing can't be tooo horrible... I just replaced a powerbass asa400.2 with it and at minimum it sounds twice as clean and clear. And that's being conservative. I would run all aura amps no questions asked.

I have one. sweet amp. A little power hungry maybe. It is under rated, will putout over 500 watts bridged. I used mine to push a mtx 9500 10" - loved it! you can go wrong for the price.
