anyone use/try these drivers out?

so I was going to get the morel elate 9's from the local shop but I saw some of the genesis speakers for sale, however because of the price and stuff I was thinking of just getting the somewhat identical drivers from scan speak.

it says that the 7 inch woofer handles `70 watts I am wondering if it will take 334 watts from the arc 2300se. Also is utilizing raw drivers in this application a good idea or is it not so highly recommended? I figured 1600 bucks is better than 3500 for the genesis 2.3 thats on sale.

the OEM scans are realy nice....but aren't anything like the Gen set I'm selling. I've A/B'd them "midrange is better, off axis resp is better, work better free air, and have a protective coating, plus the tweeter baffle is easier to work with" ...now...you could get the 2.2 set I'm selling and then do the 7's off that site for an unstopable combo for a little more than 1600 and get a 5 instead of a 4 ....

inregards to the power handling the 7 and 5 will take 300 watts all day long if installed properly
