i was wondering cuz i work at wal-mart and i have an employee discount that i could use towards satellite radio receivers. anyone use these or have any comments/reviews about them?

heh. not exactly. it's not pushing full power and right now i don't even have a hu. i'll have a total of 3 amps, 1 sub and no comps or hu. i've ran 1478rms on my stock alt and didn't have problems really.

The roady xt is good if you want xm... if you want sirius i guess the visor is decent... but i'd rather have a sportster or starmate.

For XM, you have a few different choices. You could do the Delphi Skify, which is the larger XM unit, but it will give you 30 minutes of replay time. Basically if your listening to XM and you want to hear a song you listened to 15minutes ago, you can go back and listen to that song again. Then there is the roady XT, in my opinion, it's the cleanest satellite radio unit out of sirius and XM. It just does the basic XM thing, no special features, but it will let you change the background color.

For Sirius, you also have a few different choices.The Xact Visor is the most basic satellite radio, with a single line of display that you can rather have sitting stilll, or have scrolling by. You can also do the Sirius sportster or the starmate that give you more lines of display, aswell as the feature the SKIFY has but with more replay time, 44minutes. All and all they all pretty , much do the same thing. XM get MLB and Siris get NFL,NBA, and Howard stern. If none of that is important to you, then either one will be fine. If money is the issue, i'd stick with the siris visor or the XM roady Xt because of the discount

i had the roady2 like 2 years ago. it was pretty nice, did it's job. and it was pretty inexpensive.

I have a RoadyII that I use in the house and in the wife's Jeep on long trips. I have the Terk hardwired XM setup in my car.
