Anyone use the new kicker classics?

Im looking for some cheap 8's with less than 4.5" of mounting depth, but something in a reasonable price range because they will probably subject to some abuse (various boxes and lots of power).

After some playing around in my sisters car, i got a pair of CVR 8's perdy loud, so i figured these may be a good candidate.

They look like some good drivers, their price seems a lil steep. 150 a sub

1) i've found them much cheaper

2) $150 a sub would still be cheaper than what DD wants.

The goal is to get as loud as possible on 1500rms, so i figured these would be better anyways because the DD's would want quite a bit more for their full potential.

OK misunderstood the post. I didnt see them on the site anymore, but what bout AQ 8s? Also heard that True Bass Ultra's have good output and around $100

AQ 8's are great if you can find them. So are trubass 8's. I've owned both and they are very comparable, but I give the edge to the trubass subs because they sound better and had cast baskets. Contact audio_phill for pricing on the trubasses.

4.5" mounting depth or less. I'm not sure what the depth is on the AQ8's or the trubass 8's, but i dont want to have to spend 6 months hunting down subs that arent produced anymore.

My 4 e8's are going to be up for grabs local soon. I think they might be a hair over 4.5 not sure I'll have to look.
