Anyone use the CD-UB100 with an 880PRS or 800PRS?

Actually, you can use the CD-UB100 with many more Pioneer HU's, just read the manual...

I just read in another forum where a guy claiming he is a pioneer tech said the UB100 can read up to 250GB in FAT32. Just google CD-Ub100 to find the thread.

fat32 and upto 160gig, i think 250gig is a little too much.... it'll take foreva to load all the song titles ect ect, if too there's too much data for them to read they just come up with an error, they work on any pioneer headunit with p-bus control.

Has anyone installed this adapter with the 880/800 to see how it interacts? Also, what kind of HDs can work on it?

My thoughts are to take all of my favorite songs from my CD collection and rip them in loseless format to store on the HD to run on my 800 or 880 PRS (long story..but had 880 face stolen and got 800 from insurance company. 800 faceplate works on the 880 so I can use either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif )

It works fine, but the display SUCKS, it doesn't show folders, and doesn't provide you with anything more than like 8 characters of a title.

So if I place 10 albums (1 album=1 folder) on a thumb drive, how do you go from album to album?
