Anyone use Samsung Home Theaters in a box?

You can do MUCH better if you DIY for a bit more money. There is no replacement for displacement, and the speakers are going to have zero midbass response. You are going to have a subwoofer that is easy to localize because it would have to be crossed over high to compensate. Not to mention the raw drivers literally cost pennies to make I bet for that price range.

I would reccomend doing some research on affordable DIY bookshelfs. Then look for a used receiver to save money.
