anyone tryed this JL sub?

Wondering how this would stack up against a sundown SD12 or DC/DD 500watt subwoofer. All would be in a sealed box. I know jacob said the sd series is more sealed friendly, and the dc lvl 3 does well sealed. Would the JL produce similar output? Im sure the sq will be great. Up to 1.25-1.75cu of space

Is that a new sub or something? LOL

12w3 = good, decent sub - not the best - not the best value - but a good sub. I have run a few of them.

I would not buy another

I dont have extensive listening experience with em but they did sound nice in the short time i heard them. I think I'd buy one. But I'm pretty sure I'd choose the DC lvl 3 over it too

If youre willing to spend $189 on a jl w3, why not just get the sundown sa-12 instead?

i really want to go sealed this time. Im looking for a 12 since i can only offer around 1.5cu of space.

sa12s dont liked sealed boxes, but im planning on the SD12 as of now. Unless i can find a lvl 3

They do good in sealed boxes, and they gotta be real small, so its a win win. I think the 12 likes .9 cubes or something like that.

good woofer. i ran 2 of the 13s and they sounded real nice. no experience with the other two so i will not speak on behalf of those.

the dc level 3 will have much more output with the right power. I personally hated my 12w3 it sounded great but its output and powerhandling were sub-par

hard to go wrong with the sundown SA12

the ascend audio choas and FI SSD do great sealed as well...

so u think the SA12 would be ok sealed? I know jacob said that ppl do run them sealed and its not horrible, but alot of peps told me not to run it if i was gunna go sealed. SSA rec's 1cu for em sealed, but the SD is suppose to be more sealed friendly. I was going to run my P6002 but i do have a memphis PR1000.1 on its way back from ampmedics, so i could push the SA hard too
