Heatgun heats it up alot hotter than 90 degrees, you're supposed to melt it to your car, not just roll it on, you won't even get the full deading effect the way you did it...Roller yes, heat gun no since it was about 90degress outside...
A heat gun isn't necessary unless you're using crappy deadener or live in a cold area.
