Thinking about getting one of those wireless cable TV setups, where you put a modem like box that connect to the cable from your wall, then has another output to put the cable into a nearby tv. The box then wirelessy transfers a signal up to roughly 30ft through walls/floors or 100ft of open space, to another tv that has the recieving box set up and connected to it.

anyone had any experience with these

im mainly trying to find how quality is, and if i change a channel on one of the tv's, would it change it on both?

it's gonna depend on the quality of the wiring in your house.

We had the netgear powerline adapters for a home network, and it was at my stepmom's house, which was a model home, so it was put up in a hurry, and they didn't work worth a ****.

If you have a fairly new home, and you feel fairly certain the wiring is done well, then it should be fine, but it wasn't great in my limited experience.

I'd be especially worried if you use digital cable.

well basically im at school, and i got screwed because my dorm room is the only one without a cable outlet. so its just regular cable not digital and the signal would be traveling 10ft total and through one wall.
