I just got a package and its some new rf p1 15's i havent put them in a box and played them yet but i was wondering if anyone has any experiance with these, i got them for $149 shipped from crutchfield so im hoping it was worth my money. For now ill prolly run them @ 8 ohms on my mtx tc8001 which should be between 200-400 rms at that impeadance + i dont need to much power when its in the house. but any ones thoughts or prior experainces would be nice to know before i start messin with them

they are a decent budget sub. better coulda been had for less but they will sound really nice for a home theatre

Well i had a box for 15's and I had a gift certificate for crutchfield for exactly 149.99 so i kinda went with these for other reasons if i would have had time/felt like making a box for 2 12s i would've got some cvrs

these are a bit better than cvr IMO i sell the cvr pretty cheap too but as much as i am not a fan of fosgate the 15" p1 will be alot better. i actually have 2 12" old school comp 12" svc 4's on a 240 bash amp and it hits really good but not near as good as my old cheap punch 15 series 1 did on 150 rms lolz. and that was 1 sub you have 2 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

yeah i hope they turn out good ive heard bad things about them but seeing as the A. Were exactly what i need and B. Rockford is a good brand C. There freakin SEXY ;P I mean i havent heard them yet cuz my buddy hasnt dropped my box off yet but just from my first impression i like them the only thing im worried about is idk how underrated they are and i wanna find out with out destruction

they are not great and they are overrated by about 25% but if you are easy on the gains it will be fine.

there over rated meaning 200rms would be pushing it or do mean the other way like it could take around 250?
