Anyone Think This is the Cause

Well three days ago got done working on my explorer hooked my amp back up put the cd played back in after regrounding the RCA well hooked up the bat,smoke starts coming from behind the dash... NOT GOOD. unplug the Bat tear the dash out to find bout 10 wires all mealted together or just plain wire showing.I cant find which wire stared it and cant get to it to fix it so im screwed right now.Questiong would the system have any cause in this at all

Did you hook the RCA ground up to a 12v wire? I would bet that is what you did..

Or whatever you used to ground the RCA's touched a hot wire and 'poof'...

the RCS were grounded the the case and it couldnt have sparked bc the bat wasnt conected till everything was inand iv checked time and time again fir live wires, and iv checked the fried wires dont run to the cd player or anything.

IN regards the CRX what kinda condition is it in, how many miles, things like that, you can email me at johnjames.burba@wku.edu, oh and what size is the box
