Yeah, it's pretty much true what older and wiser folk tell you. That you will not be as good of friends with the people you hang out with in highschool. Either they move away, change, or you go away. So to answer the question, I talk to MAYBE a handful of people from junior high/high school on a normal basis. I bump into people sometimes but that's rare. Hell there are people that I graduated with that haven't spoken to me since. It just happens.

im gonna say 8 of my 10 friends arent doing anything with thier life.

No college,no career,no house/no car

I understand we are all 20 somethings but I dont see how they can survive on $7-$10/hr

Im not the smartest guy ,but I knew if I didnt go to college or find a decent carrer I would end up no where.

I feel bad for my friends that just wanna party all the time and blow 100's of dollars on the weekend on nothing really.

But thats the life they chose to make.

same here. Some of the friends I hang out with I have been friends with since about 5 years old lol. Heck on of them I was in the same class/friends with from kindergarden till graduating college. Some have moved around but we still keep in touch mostly, much more than college friends.

I associate with very few of them....Its funny how the tide turns though....Back in high school some of the more cliquish popular people who wouldn't associate with me hop all over my balls when I come back home..being nice and all this bullsh1t. I was friends with basically everyone in high school except the Speds and Skanks.
Now half of the preppy girls are pregnant with kids, working a low paying job, etc, etc.

I want nothing to do with that trash.

College is a hell of a lot funner and I love making new friends. No cliques are any of that bullsh1t.

I do enjoy watching how people go their separate ways and how many of my high school classmates are already failing at life.

When I pledged a frat it reminded me a lot of the cliques in highschool.

One of my best friends now is somebody I went to highschool with but we weren't friends then, and never hung out in highschool. We both worked at the same place a few years after highschool and started hanging out.
