Anyone still keep up with their highschool friends?

I was just thinking its funny that the friends Ive made the past year in college, I already consider better friends than people I grew up with and went to school with etc etc...pretty sad when I think about it actually...anyone else feel me here?

Kind of hard to when we were all from different states/different parts of the same state.

However, I have started hanging out with a few of my old high school friends. Hadn't seen them for 2-3 years and out of the blue one of them called me up.

I associate with very few of them....Its funny how the tide turns though....Back in high school some of the more cliquish popular people who wouldn't associate with me hop all over my balls when I come back home..being nice and all this bullsh1t. I was friends with basically everyone in high school except the Speds and Skanks.

Now half of the preppy girls are pregnant with kids, working a low paying job, etc, etc.

I want nothing to do with that trash.

College is a hell of a lot funner and I love making new friends. No cliques are any of that bullsh1t.

I do enjoy watching how people go their separate ways and how many of my high school classmates are already failing at life.

I rarely see or talk to people from high school. Same goes for college I just go to class and leave. Most of my friends are in their early-mid 20's and I am only 19 so they were all graduated well before I was in high school.

lol yea its great...everyone who was an *** to me back then all of the sudden are trying to be nice to me and make up for it somehow. I show my appreciation by taking full advantage of their newfound kindness, getting money, *****, anything I can and sending their already shitty lives even further down the drain. God **** it feels good being an *******.

Luck of the draw, you guys got the good ones. Some of us got the shitty ones. Too bad you usually never know till its too late and youve gone your separate ways. Come to think of it most people from my hometown were shady *** selfish pieces of shit...

i don't keep in track with many HS friends. they can see me on facebook, but that's about it. I still keep in touch with college friends tho

i got along with everyone in higschool, except alot of prep kids, like deerhunt was saying, its funny how many got fat, **** at life and all the sudden wana be cool with me. i guess it justtakes some ppl longer to get past caring about other ppl's opinions.
