What have you found works best with it for power, box size, PEQ settings, etc...? I find it a little tight at the moment. I kind of wish it was a little sloppier //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

The Q in 1.34 which is what you have should sound friggin fantastic. That is basically what I ran mine at and took 1st in Iasca at my first comp with 17points out of 20 in the bass section. Either your box is bad or what your powering them with sucks. The Q sealed is incredible smooth and accurate in that size box, I was actually going to try them in a 1.0 box until I got sponsored by ID and now have the IDMax.

if its a new driver give it two weeks it will loosen up and then sound friggin awesome. I didn't care for mine either until they got broke in.

I don't have an experience over time with them, but I had the pleasure to listening to Shawn Flemming's Dad's Explorer, with the 3 Q 15s in it. Both him and his father commented that they were sounding much better and were getting louder as the time went on.

In a nut shell, keep playing it for a few weeks and it should start to sound better.

Sounded pretty good tonight. If SQ = accurate then this one is better than the ID-Max and RE-SE I had before. It is spot on! Very tight where if it loosens up a little I don't think it can be beat and I will be selling my Max when it comes back.

It must be the break-in thing. Today it sounds different and more pronounced. I am keeping it in even when the ID-Max comes back. It is the best I have had to date! Anyone else want to share settings, power being supplied, box sizes, etc...?

I'd personally would choose an iDmax over the Q, but that's just me.

For suggestions, I would stick to a sealed enclosure made to larger end of the recommended specs.

I am near Fresno. Give the Q two weeks, trust me it gets even better. I powered my two with a Zapco 9.0 but had the gains set so each was "only" getting roughyl 800 a piece.
