anyone runnin there zx1500.1 @ 1ohm?

people do, but if you don't have steady voltage it will shut off, and the reliability will be lost.

I ran all the kicker monoblocks I've had (3 total) at 1ohm and never had any issues with them. Just do it, they're well-built amps and should be able to handle it

1200.1 and 1250.1 should be sweet at 1 ohm, but every other model is only stable down to 2 ohm (so kicker say)

my friend ran his zx1500.1 at 1 ohm but he had two batteries in his trunk. He also had a stock altenator in is honda civic. At 1 ohm you'll get around 2300 watts. Only for burps would i suggest 0.5 ohm.

personally I wouldn't drop a kicker amp to 0.5ohm, but 1 ohm they can handle whether your electrical is up to par or not.

so i plan on getting the kicker zx1500.1 to run my 12's k7's and i have stock alternator and a big duralast battery 875-1000 amps

can i run it at one ohm and have no problem with it shutting off because it cant get enough power to supply it

and also it should be somewhere around 2200rms can the 2 l7s handle that

and whats the diff in running in 1 or 2 ohm and even in 4 ohm

get two dual 2's and run at 2 ohm.......

I run my 2500.1 at 1 ohm w/o problems. It can get a little warm during the summer, so you just have to be careful with it.

those are the sx and kx models. iirc, they were rated by kicker to be stable at 1 ohm.
