I'm having trouble finding the menu setting to turn on the Aux input (mini phono jack on the back).

I'm also having trouble locating the clock adjustment settings, as well as the rpm calibaration settings for the vehicle dynamics display.

I've had numerous Pioneer headunits. I forget the exact way to do it, but you have to like turn the headunit off and then hold the center button for like 3 seconds.

i tried doing the menu when the unit was off but nothing happened. i didnt try holding the middle button in for a little bit. hopefully tomorrow

side note. i heard with the usb adapter you dont get track title information.

with the ipod adapter on the p7800mp will i at least get track info displays etc?

anyone know how fast or slow the mp3 searching way with these units?

found the menu, got the Aux turned on.

i tried calibrating the rpm's on 2000 and 4000 and its totally out of whack. i knwo ont he vdp1 and avic's there's a speed sensor wire to hook up to the harness, or at least something to let the deck know what the car is doing. I dont remember seeing any kind of wire like this on the decks wiring harness. any recommendations???

thats good to hear. i wish the usb was better but eh what can you do.

anyone have suggestions for the rpm calibration. i think that feature is whack without a speed sensor wire like the VDP1
