Anyone recognize this box?

About three years ago I put together a system on a tight budget. I found this box with two 12 inch Cerwin Vega subwoofers for cheap off Craigslist. The box is HEAVY, and measures 34x17x13. I'm running a JBL 7001 700 watt amp. I've never been happy with the sound and I'm looking to upgrade. Would it make more sense to just upgrade the subs and use the current box? Or replace the box and subs? Anyone recognize this box and know if it's decent quality?

ports aren't wide enough.. u be better off with 1 12 with more port area., like i said in other thread.. sell whole thing to some one if u could sell amp that be good too.. u could get good amp with 1 sundown e and ported box for $500, well u said u could make box so nice amp and nicer sub sa maybe for $550-$600 and u make box peeps here can design it for u., or cstang can build u 1

Man..Those Subs sure are Crammed in there, and Box/NO ROOM for Excursion!More Like suffercation!!More power may surprise you, and a little more room for travel.

yeah is that just a 4 channel rca split between amps or what? if thats not right u could be losing 1/2 preamp volts from the hu..

Those CV subs are good. Only downfall is they require quite a bit of internal volume. I happen to have their baby brother (8" sub) in my garage as my garage sub. To put it to ya in another way, I built the enclosure for the CW sub and built another for 2 8's. Dam near the same enclosure volume. That should tell ya something.

If it were me, I'd sell those subs. Looking at inside of your trunk, doesn't look like you have much room to work with. Use that $$ to sell the subs with and get yourself a pair of 8's or 10's in a well designed ported enclosure with some solid power.

Its been a few years since the install, but I believe thats the (pardon my ignorance of the correct terms) signal from the head unit to each amp, one amp for the component fronts, one amp for the subs.

yeah i just looked at dual 10 boxes and they all real deep too, i think just 1 12 with more power maybe better.. it's just most peeps use 2 different rcas i guess it's just 4 wire, as long as 2 are connected to sub preout and they all aren't ran off just 1 set of pre outs it's fine..
